Three decades ago, a young couple Dr. C.D. John and Mrs. Clementine John walked into the sleepy suburb of Vijayanagar in Bangalore, motivated by a missionary zeal to provide a purposeful education to the talented children in this part of the world. They believed in a meaningful diversification of Education. Here the curtain is raised...

1974 - Dr. C.D.John and Mrs. Clementine John along with a few other dedicated academicians formed the Vijayanagar Educational Trust [Regd.] and established the St. John's High School.

1983 - The Trust established the St. John's Pharmacy college and was soon followed by the St. John's college of Management, in 1994.

Mission:  SJC, a Christian minority institution is open to all persons irrespective of religion, caste or community.
The institution aims to advance knowledge in Pharmacy and Management through research and teaching and to play a significant role in shaping health care in India.
